Kash is a product of Hyppe Enterprise, LLC (“Hyppe Enterprise, LLC”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through trykash.com, the Kash waitlist, member cards and our emails, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Kash app itself is built to keep your budget on your phone.
The short version
- We collect your email when you join the waitlist, and your handle and name only if you put them on your member card.
- Your budget, paychecks, expenses and debts in the Kash app stay on your device. We never ask for your bank login.
- We don’t sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or advertising trackers.
- You can ask us to see, fix or delete your information at any time: [email protected].
1. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Which sign-up form you used on the page, the language you used (English or Spanish), and when you joined. We use the join order to give you a member number.
When you make a member card
- The handle and, if you choose, the name you put on your card. Your card is an image you download; we only show it to you through a private link.
When you visit trykash.com
- Cookies: a session cookie that remembers your language, that you just joined, and keeps forms secure, plus a security (CSRF) cookie. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Your browser’s storage: your light or dark mode choice is saved only in your browser.
- Country: our network provider tells us which country a visit comes from so we can show the site in your language. We don’t store it.
- IP address and technical data: used briefly to limit abuse (for example, too many sign-ups in a minute) and kept in short-lived security and server logs.
2. The Kash app
Kash is designed to work offline. The sheets, paychecks, expenses, debts and settings you enter in the app are stored on your device, and we don’t receive them. Kash doesn’t connect to your bank. If we ever offer an optional feature that stores data on our servers, such as a cloud backup, we’ll update this policy and ask for your permission before it’s turned on.
3. How we use your information
- To run the waitlist and give you your member number.
- To send your welcome email and messages about your spot, the launch and Kash updates.
- To create and save your member card.
- To keep trykash.com secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with the law.
4. Who helps us
We share information only with providers that help us run Kash, and only for that purpose:
- Laravel Cloud hosts the website.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the website.
- Supabase stores the waitlist.
- Resend sends our emails.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our users or Hyppe Enterprise, LLC, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist information while the waitlist is open and for as long as you remain interested in Kash. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Security and server logs are kept only for a short period.
6. Your choices and rights
- Emails: you can stop receiving them at any time by replying to any email or writing to us.
- Access, correction and deletion: email [email protected] and we’ll help you, usually within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or Mexico), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain uses or receiving a copy of your information. Contact us to use them.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and security settings that keep the waitlist private. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children
Kash is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. International transfers
Hyppe Enterprise, LLC and our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live. We take steps to protect it wherever it’s processed.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we’ll let you know by email before it takes effect.
